29 hours and counting until The Top Pub opens its doors again. We are so looking forward to seeing you all, we have enough seats for everyone!
The beauty of this old pub, is that most Greytownians already have their own seat in here! But we have also made a cozy overflow for any visitors, and we have put some nice comfy sofa's by the fire in the dining room. So everyone is welcome to drop by for a drink and a catch up with friends.
Our Winter opening hours from tomorrow will be: Monday to Wednesday 3pm to 10pm, Thursday 3pm to 12am, Friday and Saturday 11am to 1am, Sunday 11am to 10pm.
Our off-license will remain open daily until 10pm and will remain online, so if there anything you would like us to stock for off sales let us know. Still delivery off sales to Greytown between 2pm and 4pm Monday to Friday.

I SEE THE LIGHT, we are almost there, a really well-done job New Zealand. In 9 days 5 hours and 42 minutes (aka Thursday 21st May at 11am) we will swing the doors of the Top Pub open once again and welcome everyone in for a social drink, we will adhere to social distancing and good hygiene practices, but rest assured we will be pouring your favorite drinks and dishing out our usual banter, can't wait for it Greytown. It's almost like waiting for Santa as a kid, but even more excited.

The new normal? yes, we can do non-contact takeaways and deliveries goes against the grain of our usual hospitality but hey why deprive yourself of Mike's, Alejandra's, and Nick's great cooking just because you have to deprive yourself of our great banter!!! Today 5 years ago we bought The Greytown Hotel. It would be lovely to sit down in The Pub and have a beer with you all, but in failing that Tony and I still want to say a massive thanks to all of you who have welcomed us into this fabulous piece of paradise, and accepted us as part of your community, we love it and long may it continue. We are so looking forward to opening the doors again and seeing you all. But for the moment stay home, stay safe it will be all worth it in the end. Slainte (Cheers)
